I moved to Key West from Montreal almost five years ago and continue to be awestruck by the beauty and strangeness of this place.
I am a studio artist at The Studios Key West and treasure the small room I share with fellow writer Jonathan Woods. I wrote No Name Key in that space and when I enter that room that overlooks the tin rooftop and the avocado tree, I feel transported to another place where the mundane dare not enter.
In 2014 I completed "No Name Key" a novel that began as the winning entry for TSKW's "Writes of Spring" contest in 2012. I took that contest very seriously, worked hard on the entry and was rewarded with first place. That pat on the back was enough to carry me through the duration of the entire book.

I write book reviews for the Key West Citizen occasionally.
I have begun my second novel, another tale set in the always odd and sometimes dangerous Florida Keys.
