Clancy Dixon was born in Los Angeles where he attended Hollywood High School, and Cal State, Northridge University. After graduating from Northridge he worked in radio broadcasting, the Los Angeles Times, and the Orange County Register.He currently teaches reading at Meadowlawn Middle School in St. Petersburg, Florida. Besides writing books, his hobbies are golf, jogging, and skiing. He has written two books, "Call Waiting" which currently has a 4.5 rating and "Power of A Name," the origin of professional sports team nicknames, and their most valuable players.
