Scott Shannon

Scott Shannon is a freelance writer, graphic designer, and composer/recording artist. He began creating coloring books in 2015 and is thrilled with the response from Amazon customers. Scott is the former senior pastor for the Worldwide Christian Ministry association, an Internet ministry serving Christians around the world. He has worked as a volunteer pastor for the past 28 years in jails, prisons, nursing homes, homeless shelters, food pantries, and in churches in the United States, Egypt, Morocco, Japan, Peru, and Europe. Scott's background also includes sixteen years as a professional actor, singer, and dancer; twelve years as a computer programmer, and fifteen years as a therapist and social worker. Since 2002 he has composed and produced 24 albums of Classical and New Age music, all are for sale on Amazon, iTunes, and internationally (he's "big" in Sweden, France, and Japan). Scott's Christian writings are considered radical and controversial by some. He frequently receives hate mail denouncing him as a "heretic" (or worse), but his books only rely on the words of Jesus as a guide for how we should conduct ourselves as Christians. His books are filled with love. Scott currently resides in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina with his son and five "pound puppies" rescued during the past fourteen years. His wife of thirty years died in 1999.
