Susan Murphy

I'm an Australian author, from South Australia. I started out writing what I Know - I work as a marriage and funeral celebrant with a hectic day job working in media for the government - but I also like to write what I imagine. This writing journey kicked off with a surprise offer from Harper Collins for a 2 book deal (For my Confetti Confidential series) and then slowly, word by word, page by page and story by story, I managed to keep going, bringing more books to life. With a passion for telling the stories of people, I craft marriage ceremonies, eulogies and books that tell those stories. From love and hardship to life and loss and everything in between, I’ve had the often humbling opportunity to see and be a part of the most special and important moments in people’s lives. My past writing includes the Confetti Confidential series - They Do, I Don’t and Annabel’s Wedding, as well as Aloha Love and my short, A Moonta Bay Christmas. Book 3 in the Confetti Confidential series is coming soon! I placed third in the Best New Author category with Romance Writers of Australia and I was the Writer in Residence at the SA Writers Centre. I have also recently completed my Bachelor of Writing and Communication with the University of South Australia.
