Kate Milliner is a new author but a long-time writer. She has worked as a publishing editor, translator and marketing writer but always felt the stronger attraction of fiction and times gone by.
She got a flair for old English through Milton, Donne and sonnets of Shakespeare while studying for her MA in Comparative Literature, but her most lasting love is Jane Austen.
She has lived in England, Mexico and Madrid (the greatest city in the world), but is now happily settled in Espoo, Finland, with her husband and two smallish children.
