I am an amateur ancient historian who is enamored with the Greco-Roman era. Naturally, then, my writing has been a direct offshoot of those interests - my epic fantasy is influenced by Imperial Rome whereas my historical fiction takes place in ancient Corinth (Greece). Despite the common inspiration, they were vastly different experiences, even if they were equally rewarding. My love for military history runs hand in hand with my interests above, so one thing you will always (well, for now...) find in my novels are battles - lots and lots of battles.
