J. Peter Hoyer

First and foremost, Pete loves to play golf, he'd rather golf than eat (well, most of the time anyway). In 40 + years of playing, many zany characters have played alongside in foursomes. Those unique golfers and their personal stories have become the genesis for this book. J. Peter (Pete) Hoyer keenly observes the personalities of people he meets. His book is a humorous look at the people he encountered during his decades-long love affair with the game of golf. These quirky personalities and their situations are now central to the witty, sarcastic and social dystopian musings of his first book. Pete graduated from North Rockland H.S. in Haverstraw, NY. He holds a B.A. degree from The Citadel and master's degrees from Webster Univ and Troy State Univ. He travelled extensively throughout the U.S., Europe and others working with the Department of Defense for 40 years. An avid golfer, he resides in Calabash, NC, the seafood capital of the U.S. and the golf capital on the east coast. See you on the course!
