Caitlin PenzeyMoog grew up in a spicemonger family and her first book, On Spice, is a tribute to both spices and family. An overview of spices is mixed with advice, wisdom, history, and an anecdote here and there about what it's like to start mixing seasonings before your first birthday, On Spice is part how-to, part explainer, part memoir. Caitlin is the managing editor at The A.V. Club. She lives in Chicago.
