Janina Grey

About the author

Always a storyteller, Janina Grey began writing when she was old enough to hold a crayon. Poetry, short stories, essays, blogs, news and feature articles, Op/Eds, Press Releases, research studies, and newsletters have kept her busy since her crayon days. But it's sharing happily-ever-afters through the eyes of her characters that keeps Janina at her keyboard writing until all hours of the night, or rising with the morning sun and a hot cuppa Lady Grey tea. Before pursuing a career as an author, Janina spent more than two decades of her life honing her skills as an award winning journalist and editor. Her first job as a cub reporter for the acclaimed and then third largest weekly newspaper on the east coast, Suffolk Life Newspapers, earned her numerous awards with the NYPA (New York Press Association). After relocating off Long Island, she then answered her calling at the more than 100 year old newspaper, and award winning Richfield Springs Mercury, where she served as reporter and then Managing Editor until the paper closed in 2009. Janina Grey was born in the Bronx and grew up on the north shore of Long Island, New York, and currently resides in Upstate New York.In 2002, she found her forever home in the Mohawk Valley where she raised her two children (Anthony and Alexandra) - the greatest short stories she ever produced. Now that her children are grown, she and her husband, David, are living a real life happily ever after in their 116-year old farmhouse overlooking the Mohawk Valley with a squawky murder of Crows and a few resident ghosts. If you are looking for heartwarming and still steamy happily ever after romances that you can relate to, check out Janina Grey's catalogue, including the Earth and Sky Series including LOVE IN THE FOREST, LIFE IS FOR LIVING, and the soon to be released, LOST IN YOUR RHYTHM (Spring, 2023).
