Debi Bober

About the author

Dr. Debi Bober has taught K-8 students in LBUSD for 25 years. She works with at-risk populations, English Learners, special education students, mainstreamed students, and GATE identified learners. Debi Bober received her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from UCLA in 2007, where she won the Doctoral Dissertation Award for her work in teaching effectiveness. Debi was chosen as one of 200 national Dream Team teachers to design lessons for LearnZillion.com. Her digitally interactive lessons are downloadable by teachers globally. Debi has also created professional development instructional videos for teachers in her district. Debi currently works as an Educational Consultant for teachinglearningsolutions.com. She has facilitated the collaborative learning of teachers, teacher leaders, and administrators across the United States. In 2019, Debi Bober was awarded Teacher of the Year in her local district, Los Angeles county, and was selected a finalist in the state of California. She is a wife and mother of two children, residing in Long Beach, California, a block from where she went to school as a child. In her free time, she is a competitive outrigger canoe paddler, Ragnarian runner, and plays the flute.
