About the author

My inspiration behind the writing of 'Commando KidZ' was to inspire young adults to be optimistic. Young adults ought to run their own race, on their own timelines. They need to set targets and work hard to reach them. We're in tough times, but our youth can still follow their dreams. Today are young people are trying to find out who they are and how to make a difference in the world. It's OK to try various career paths. I tried a couple of them (nurse aide, police officer, counselor) before I became a teacher. I attended the University of Maryland, graduating in 1988 with a Bachelors of Science in Education. I attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale for graduate school. I graduated with a Masters of Science in Education in 1994.
