Perle Besserman published her first story at the age of nine and hasn't stopped writing since. Trained early as an actor, singer, and dancer, her talents as a performer infuse her many award-winning fiction and creative nonfiction publications. After a long career writing books on spiritual topics, she now devotes her time mainly to fiction, publishing novels and short stories in both print and digital form, in addition to teaching and writing about Zen with her husband Manfred Steger.
