My writing, for me, us one part work and one part release and escape. I have always been drawn to the dark side, the supernatural and paranormal, since I was very young-it seemed to me the place to find answers and to belong. My search is mostly spiritual and philosophical, of trying to make sense out of the senseless. My father's death, when I was a teen, drove me in this direction as did a feeling of being an outsider, for many reasons. A psychic family terrorized in their own home, a blind vampire, a Chinese vampire living in a New Galaxy or a teen girl trying to solve the mystery behind the assaults of three of her classmates while mourning for her dead mother-my imagination takes me down some interesting roads. In the end, I hope to not only entertain, but enlighten my readers a bit.
