Amy M. Bennett's first published novel, "End of the Road", won the 2012 Dark Oak Mystery contest and validated the previous twenty years spent learning the craft of writing. In her free time, she decorates cakes at Walmart in Alamogordo, New Mexico; slings vino at Noisy Water Winery in Ruidoso, New Mexico; and keeps a husband and son alive and well in Bent, New Mexico, where she enjoys drinking New Mexico wine and cooking New Mexico cuisine (and her answer to the state question “Red or green?” is “Yes!”) She is a member of Catholic Writers Guild and participates in National Novel Writing Month every year. She is currently working on the fourth book in her Black Horse Campground series.
