Jowita Bydlowska was born in Warsaw, Poland. She is the author of the bestselling memoir Drunk Mom (Doubleday Canada, HarperCollins Australia, Penguin US). Her bestselling novel Guy (Buckrider Press) came out in the fall of 2016. She's been published in a number of anthologies, and she is also the author of many short stories, and has appeared in Best Canadian Short Stories 2017. As a journalist, she writes about culture, social issues and mental health for a variety of national and international publications. Her new novel, I'm Sorry I Love You, is due to come out in 2022.
