Valerie Keogh always wanted to write. It was her dream, but fear of failure led to the dream becoming more important and she didn't start writing until her forties. Now, she can't stop. She writes two different crime series. The Garda West series, based in Ireland, is a crime/romance series. The Nicola Connolly series, is a much darker series about a female serial killer.
She has also written a stand-alone novel, Exit Five from Charing Cross which is her favorite.
