ALDEN DOUGLAS was born in Rochester, New York; he earned degrees in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of California, Irvine, and Indiana University, Bloomington, where he taught fiction and non-fiction writing. For decades he has been a dedicated technologist and a passionate traveler, journeying to more than fifty countries. His first novel, "Bucky of Belgravia," emerged out of a long-term love affair with the city of London.
When not on the road in search of new stories, Alden divides his time between the south of England and the San Francisco Bay Area.
