About the author

I'm a Native American writer, born in and raised around San Antonio. I'm deeply rooted in and now live in the vibrant heart of Texas. My life is centered around God, my family and—as I affectionately refer to writing—"telling lies." After all, isn't that what we, as fiction writers, endeavor to do? We craft intricate worlds, breathe life into characters, and then spoon-feed them to our readers, hoping they lose themselves, if only momentarily, in the fabricated realities we create. And, maybe—just maybe—for a brief period of time, they forget about life for a while. I have an unwavering love for reading and cinema, each book I devour unfolding like a film in my mind. When I write, I strive to transpose the cinematic tapestry of my imagination onto paper. Two novels I penned in the 1980s underwent a transformation into screenplays in the 1990s and were recently reimagined into the novels now available online. While the essence remains, the narratives have evolved, reflecting the experiences and perspectives of the past two decades. Writing has been a companion of mine since my teenage years, a constant amidst life's ebb and flow. My life's journey led me to start my own catering business which I ran for sixteen years, briefly sidelining my literary pursuits. Then, with the encouragement of my husband fellow writer friends, I reclaimed my pen, breathed new life into my manuscripts and rekindled my love for writing. And—I haven't stopped! For over three decades, the characters conceived in my mind have lingered and grown, yearning to be shared with the world. It’s time their stories unravel on the blank canvas, and it’s time for readers to experience the emotional tapestry they weave. If my tales invoke laughter, tears, and a myriad of emotions, then I will have succeeded as a writer. And this journey, rich with promise and potential, is just beginning…
