Dawna Bowman Flowers is an East Texas author, born and raised under the shade of the Piney Woods, where she still resides with her family and pets. She's authored over thirty books, and published twenty-seven on a wide range of subjects. Her first fiction project, a short story titled, In the Forest, first appeared in an eponymously titled collaborative book project with four other East Texas writers. Thirteen of her works are children’s books, one of which contains four fiction stories. Five of her works were written under the name of Dawn Nefer-Aten, and were published for a non-profit, live-action, role-playing group, Amtgard.
